The following terms and conditions are concerned with the use of the Southwest Skills Centre Ltd online training platform and it’s content/material. From this point known as “Skills Centre”, “us”, “we”.

Any person or organisation accessing or using Skills Centre through creating an account is hereinafter known as “the customer” or “you”.

Any person or organisation accessing or using Skills Centre by way of using training materials or resources is hereinafter known as “the user”.

All resources and materials made available through the access or use of Skills Centre are the property of Skills Centre.

Accepting these Terms and Conditions establishes the Contract between Skills Centre and you.

The customer agrees not to breach the rights, in any way, relating to the resources made available by and through Skills Centre.

You acknowledge and agree that copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the Goods documents and materials associated with the Goods shall remain vested in Us and You will not acquire any title copyright or other proprietary rights in such Goods documentation or materials.

No video or other material made available on or through Skills Centre may be downloaded, copied, saved, duplicated, stored, archived, held and or used in any way other than as intended directly for and by Skills Centre. To do so is a breach of copyright, for which action will be taken.

The customer understands that material presented in good faith by Skills Centre is intended to promote best known practice but that it is the responsibility of the customer to make its own judgment as to the use of any material presented.

E-learning courses and classroom courses can be purchased by way of credits. You accept that Skills Centre is not liable for unauthorised access to, use of or loss of credits.

Skills Centre provides no guarantee that the user understands the course subject, this is a matter for the customer to assess and manage appropriately.
In accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to be bound by them. No alterations to these Terms and Conditions operate without the written authority of a Southwest Skills Centre Limited director. The Contract shall be governed by the Laws of England and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Electronic communications

When you use the Skills Centre Service, or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on or through the Skills Centre Service. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Reviews, comments, communications and other content

We may permit visitors to post reviews, comments, photos, and other content; send messages and other communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information. If you post content or submit any material to us, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant Skills Centre and its sub-licensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose.

You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify Skills Centre for all claims resulting from content you supply. We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. Skills Centre takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.

Site policies, modification and severability

We reserve the right to make changes to the Skills Centre Service, these Conditions of Use and any Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Skills Centre Service following any changes will indicate your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to a change, you must immediately stop using the Skills Centre Service. If any Terms or these Conditions of Use are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition or term shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition or term.


Your right to use the Skills Centre Service will automatically terminate if you violate these Conditions of Use or any other Terms. In case of such termination, we may terminate your access to the Skills Centre Service without notice and you will not receive a full or partial refund of any fees already paid. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with the Conditions of Use or any other Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.
